Parents and carers

The effects of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred are continuing to affect many communities across South East Queensland, however we are pleased to say that our school opened today (Monday 10 March) for regular teaching and learning.  Our students and staff are to be commended for their efforts to resume normal operations. We can be Palmview Proud.

We would like to extend a huge thank-you to our community for your support during this event and acknowledge those in our community who had to adopt a safety first approach when travel to school was impacted.  Thank you for accessing QParents, Compass or for calling the absence line (5231 5333, Option 1) to explain student absence. Note absences due to weather events such as this one are not shown on Report Cards.

We encourage all families to continue to monitor the situation, including checking with travel providers to ensure your children, our students can travel safely to and from school.
